Behind the Studio

Santaplix was founded by Santa, an illustrator, comic artist and visual storyteller based in Spain.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Drawing from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. For more than a decade, he has collaborated with publishers, authors and organizations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Argentina.

Alongside commissioned work, Santa develops original stories through comics and illustrated fiction. This ongoing authorial practice continually enriches the studio’s approach to visual storytelling, narrative design and world-building.
